Waylight re-ranks your log as you play. Finished quests float to the top, quick wins nearby come next, and quests that will slow you down sink to the bottom.
Turn in first
Completed quests waiting for a hand-in. Free XP, so they always lead.
Nearby or nearly done
Objectives close to where you stand, or one or two kills from finished.
Too dangerous for now
Red quests wait until you've caught up in level.
Not worth the walk
Gray quests give almost no XP. Skip them or clear them on the way.

Guide arrow
An on-screen arrow points to your top-ranked objective. Turn it on with /wl follow and just walk.
Auto accept and turn-in
Accepts quests, hands them in and skips gossip text. Hold Shift when talking to an NPC to do it yourself.
XP per hour
See your real leveling pace and how long until the next level, updated as you play.
Coaching tips
A single line of advice under the advisor tells you the smartest move right now.
Record and replay routes
Record your path on your main with the R button, then replay it on alts of the same faction with /wl replay.
Choose rewards yourself
Prefer picking quest rewards by hand? /wl reward none leaves that choice to you.
Commands

Unzip into AddOns
Installing by hand? Put the
Waylightfolder in your WoW: Forever AddOns folder, for example:World of Warcraft\_classic_beta_\Interface\AddOns\Fully restart WoW
Close the game completely and start it again. A brand-new addon won't show up until you do.
Start questing
Waylight is on by default. Pick up a quest and the advisor appears.
Questions
Is Waylight free?
Yes, completely. There's no paid version and no locked features. If it saves you time, you can support development with a donation.
Does it play the game for me?
No. Waylight suggests what to do next, points the way and skips dialog clicks. You still move, fight and make every decision.
I installed it but don't see it in the AddOns list.
Close WoW completely and start it again. New addons only appear after a full restart, not after a reload or logout.
Can I turn off auto accept or turn-in?
Hold Shift when you talk to an NPC to handle that conversation yourself. Use /wl reward none if you only want to choose rewards by hand.
Which game versions does it support?
Waylight is built for World of Warcraft: Forever and releases alongside it on 4 November 2026.
I found a bug. Where do I report it?
Turn on /wl debug, reproduce the problem and send a screenshot through the comments on the CurseForge page.
