Waylight reads your quest log, ranks what to do next and points the way. Less alt-tabbing to guides, more time actually leveling.
Waylight re-ranks your log as you play. Finished quests float to the top, quick wins nearby come next, and quests that will slow you down sink to the bottom. It weighs the walk and the work left on each quest, so a far-away turn-in never beats objectives right next to you.
Completed quests waiting for a hand-in. Free XP, so they always lead.
Objectives close to where you stand, or one or two kills from finished.
Red quests wait until you've caught up in level.
Gray quests give almost no XP. Skip them or clear them on the way.

Points to the quest Waylight ranks highest, even when it's in another zone: Waylight drops a map pin there, then hands over to the game's own quest marker once you arrive. Turn it on with /wl follow.
Waylight only considers gear you can use, scores it on your class's stats and compares it with what you wear. Clear upgrades are taken, close calls are pre-selected for you to confirm. Prefer choosing yourself? Use /wl reward none.
Waylight is updated regularly. The CurseForge app installs new versions for you.

A route belongs to the character that recorded it. /wl route new starts a fresh one and /wl share 1-10 shares just part of it.
When your next quest is in another zone, the guide arrow shows a map pin to it, then hands over to the game's own quest marker when you arrive.
Quest rewards are now chosen for your class instead of by sell price, so a warrior no longer gets a cloth robe. New: /wl reward check explains the choice, /wl reward value brings back the old behaviour.
Ranking weighs the walk plus the work left on each quest, and Waylight suggests finishing objectives that are almost on the way to your next turn-in.

Yes. Use them side by side: a map addon can show quest givers and objectives, and Waylight tells you which quest to do next and points the way. If another addon also auto accepts quests, switch off Auto quests in Waylight so only one addon handles quest NPCs.
Yes. The quest advisor ranks whatever is in your live quest log, so Forever's new quests are ranked as soon as you pick them up. The built-in draft routes are built from quest data for the classic quests and don't include the new ones yet, but the advisor still ranks them as you play.
No. Waylight suggests what to do next, points the way and skips dialog clicks. You still move, fight and make every decision.
Close WoW completely and start it again. New addons only appear after a full restart, not after a reload or logout.
Hold Shift when you talk to an NPC to handle that conversation yourself. Use /wl reward none if you only want to choose rewards by hand.
It looks only at gear your class can wear or wield, scores it on the stats your class uses and compares it with what you have equipped. A clear upgrade is taken automatically with a chat line saying why. On a close call nothing is taken: the best option is pre-selected and you click Complete. Type /wl reward check at a quest window to see the reasoning.
